June 4th.
Event Highlights Increased Options for Affordable Jet Ownership
Jet Alliance, Inc.
announced today that it will have both the Eclipse 500 Jet and the
Cessna Citation Mustang Jet in Ontario on June 4th to enable a
comparison of these new modes of transportation. There is a new
category of aircraft known as the “Very Light Jet” (VLJ) which
incorporates the latest technology in safety, comfort, speed and
fuel economy. It also is better for the environment than all other
jets due to its miserly fuel consumption and extremely quiet
engines. Jet-Alliance gained national recognition last year when it
took delivery of the first production VLJ, Eclipse 500 Jet, serial
#1. This aircraft has been featured throughout the United States as
the world's first production VLJ.
The Jet-Alliance
open house event will take place Wednesday, June 4th from 3:30 p.m.
to 7 p.m. at Guardian Jet Center located at Ontario Airport. The
event will provide an opportunity to see the latest advances in new
private jet technologies displayed by the Eclipse 500 and Cessna
Mustang and to learn about shared ownership opportunities available
for busy professionals and others interested in private jet
ownership.
Jet-Alliance’s
Eclipse 500s are flying owners now. Additional VLJs, including the
Cessna Mustang and soon the HondaJet, will be added at regular
intervals to the fleet. Reduced production and operating costs in
aviation technology make VLJs available to owners at a more
affordable price than previous jet aircraft. For instance, without
sacrificing safety or performance, the Eclipse 500 lists for under
$2 million. Previously available entry level jet aircraft, such as
the Cessna Citation CJ1, sell for approximately $5 million. Shared
jet ownership is an option available in the Eclipse 500 starting at
only $199,375 ($225,000 fully equipped) for a 1/8 share.

ownership is no longer the exclusive domain of big business or

an Eclipse) to fly in a private jet today.”
